About Catalyst
Our Background
Catalyst Safety was established in 2022 by Gordon Allan, who is owner and principal. Gordon was one of the founders of Quantum Compliance, a successful health and safety consultancy, who were known for the sustained delivery of quality health and safety, fire safety, asbestos and legionella services. Prior to that he gained extensive experience working in the sector, including policy development for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and as an enforcement officer in Glasgow with particular experience in relation to H&S, asbestos remedial works, food safety, cooling towers and legionella.
Our Approach
We are building a health and safety consultancy that can be depended on to consistently deliver all services to the highest standard, and which aims to make a lasting difference to our clients, their employees and customers. Our core services are health and safety, fire safety, asbestos management and legionella control. We can meet all our client’s health and safety needs through our team or via a network of specialists.

We want to work with our clients to understand their health and safety needs and assist them in establishing, maintaining and improving their health and safety culture and support them in the effective management of health and safety.
